Dr Lubin Jiang is the Director of Shanghai Institute of Immunity and Infection, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and guest professor in Shanghai Tech University. He is the recipient of the China National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and a Special Allowance from the Chinese Government. He is a member of the Expert Group for National Key Research and Development Program of China. His current research centers on epigenetic regulation of malaria parasites with the long-term goal to develop antimalarials and malaria vaccines. His work has been recognized internationally through scientific publications in well-regarded international journals including Nature and PNAS. He serves as the Chief Editor for the international journal Decoding Infection & Transmission.
